I have no idea who the character is, but, uh, you really need to work on the animations... a lot.

Idle is a tad fast, and unnatural. Go look at Megaman Zero's idle animation, it actually looks like he's breathing, not just moving back and forth.
Dead, the shorts look terrible.
For Taunt, he should be able to transition form Idle into Taunt and back, same goes for Guard.

If you can't fix these issues, GTFO or make an expansion with a better sprite sheet.
Kudos for a character I've never seen/heard of before.

And, the taunt shouldn't be "Hold till let go", it should have a set duration, like all taunts in SSB.
Otherwise, the fixes make it a little better for the dead and guard.
