Good for you guys, starting so early. now i feel shamed. [not really. I just spent my time playing games. ] And to you luli, with my goal to be a game designer, i will lol so hard when i've got an EPIC with the 3 chars. listed, after you telling me no one but their creator would like a custom char. like them. BTW, <Na> Suliboy, you rule and are being very inspirational, but it won't change my skill set. i cant draw worth a @#$% normally, and its worse with a computer. Learning spriting is going to be difficult. I wanna do it, but it is going to be hard. this is going to sound like begging, but can someone get me a tutorial on spriting? Suliboy was right, beneton was easy to understand, but i cant copy and paste without a sprite sheet. i need to learn how to sprite, and i need help. Also, why shouldnt i start with stick figures? they're easy, and evidently they deserve a whole website,StickPage. Also, Prelude to the One ruled.

Well i'm sorry if i don't like the punks who called me and anything i could come up with worthless. They didn't even bother with any constructive criticism, they just jumped to the insults without bothering to think i might not be in their league. BTW, i think i found a good spriting tutorial, so i think i'm covered. Lugia's Island Spriting Introduction, i think it's called. It makes sense at least.
Also, i'm amazed that a few questions can cause such massive debating. lol

I've been animating with Benton since 2nd grade! And their is no such thing as a complete custom tutorial, customs are customs they are made from your own style!

When you learn that custom spriting tuts are everywhere, you can say something.
Style is developed through learning and can be learned from other styles.
You don't go and start customs unless you do fighter sprites, like SF and Darkstalkers. They are actual drawings.
Sure, sprites like JUS and Sonic are drawings, but their small size makes them difficult for some reason I don't care about.
That's why tutorials are made.
To show you how to "scale down" your skills.
Or something.
Also, time is not always off the essence.
Cause copy/pasting isn't a skill.
