What's up with the walk?
It also wouldn't hurt to use decent effects and not large, unshaded balls of suck.

My knowledge of effects has gone up, and I'll have an experiment with those shadow thingys.

The win looks pretty uncomfortable. Either shift the body a little, or don't let the head turn so far to the side.

Or give me the name of a animating program that doesn't screw transparency up completely.

Ummm, from first looks on those sprites, I see why you are complaining about the transparency. The background is like.....crazyly got pixels everywhere.

If by "messed it up", you mean "slowed it down to the point where it stopped being funny", then yes.

Just fix the speed and it should be fine. Think lightning fast, like in these animations Torn already did.

Though personally I prefer the original to this one with glossy effects.
