Well, I think I remember them being able to float the rocks and shit, I'd assume you could just be on top of one. But I mean, you could just send a giant pillar of stone from below you to act as a jumping base or something, there are plenty of thing you could think of.

But where would the rock come from? He is in the center of the air where the ground is far away from him. He can't create a rock out of air, it has to come from the ground. Also, there is no possible recovery for the water element.

The water and ice in the show floated too. Also, extreme water pressure CAN move you, hell it can cut through steel.

yeah that chick her name is Katara and yes she can use a water whip but it's a attack not a revovery move
