Journal: I have finally started the remake of my first expansion that I made during my noobish days, Krystal from Starfox. She has new sprites since the style of Fox and Falco changed. Let's hope this will be the final sprite. Not only that, I'm going to remake her moveset. I'm going to declone her, yet make her moveset the same style as Fox and Falco so expect some smash attacks to be clones.

Here's my first Krystal at the old expansion forums. I made Krystal successful, I can do it again.

*NOTE TO PROGRAMERS* She jumps in a 60 degree angle and when she flips, it's like she's preforming the frontflip animation
Beginning (on ground)-

*NOTE TO PROGRAMMERS* While she is flipping on the ground, it counts as an air dodge which means she cannot recieve damge or knockback while flipping in the air during a frontflip or a backflip.

Up special- Evadsive Jump- If on the ground, she will preform a backflip to get in back of her oppenents behind her. The player may press any direction in the arrow keys and jump flip forward, or backflip (up, down, back imput) to jump backwards. She could reflect projectiles when the projectile hits her knee that's thrusting while she preforms her front flip. If used in the air, she will preform a flip upward.

I've been waiting for her to be made.
I don't love the idle.
It looks a bit choppy.
But knowing you sh, you're going to do amazing.
I voted epic win already.

The sprites aren't bad but that Idle looks a little awkward.

SC@ Well it was the second most popular expansion I made (used to be first, but Tetra/Toon Zelda took her place) and all of me expansions were successful, I think she'll be fine.

I would rather give her a combat pose since that Fox and Falco are doing it. I'll see which one other peopke would like.

Well she certainly isn't scratching anyone anymore, however is this good?

Now that's better, and yeah good point she would look weird if she didn't have a combat pose.

What do you think about this moveset? I have some leftout moves, so you can replace one of the current ones. Do you approve it? None of these moves below are custom, they have an origin. Tell me if you would like to hear the history behind it.

When I said ROB, I meant ROB from Starfox. ROB also spoke in Starfox 64 (watch video from 2:40 to 2:43), Starfox Advenutures (Watch video from 9:08 to 9:11), Starfox Assualt (watch video from 3:46 to 3:53), and Starfox Command.

So other than the blaster, do you think the specials are a clone of anything. Are you okay on having Krystal as a semi-clone? Do you want to hear the history behind them now or later?

I like the moveset. Although when you can her moveset changes when her Down Special is activated, do you mean all of it or just specials?

Yes, I mean the entire moveset. Smashes, aerials, grabs, everything including the Final Smash will change. She will not draw her staff just to use 3 attacks.

I've been planning on using an Adventures Final Smash for Krystal with the staff that involves Prince Tricky. She will ride on Prince Tricky as a Final Form, able to preform 4 attacks including his fire breath attack. Any opinions?

I had that idea for her Final Smash but with a bigger dino instead. I like it

Well I can see why you wanted the big dino idea. After all, she is friends with all of them (I think) except for the Sharpclaw tribe . However Prince Tricky knows more attacks, is more closer to Fox and Krystal, and he had a big role in Adventures (he's Fox's sidekick) and made an appearence in Assualt. Also, he grew big enough to ride on in Assualt, so he's not tiny as he was in Adventures.

I'm sure Starfox fans want to see Prince Tricky (because he's awesome) instead of some dino they don't know. Does anyone still want the bigger dino thing or now wants Prince Tricky to be Krystal's dino.

I understand he's more reconizable that the others. Sure you should use him

I say hell yeah to Tricky, why in fact I thnk if she was in Brawl that would be her F.S.

I'm no fan of the Star Fox series, but her sprite just may seem weird to me.

Not compared to Fox, and Falco's.

I have to say you're my favorite member.
You're the only one who takes my ideas seriously! (Except for Socks.)
So yeah, the idle looks better but you need to add some more frames.
Her body shouldn't bob up and down that much. (Same with her head.)
