Hi Um i am a newcomer so

How do i start making a Character

You first get, edit or create some sprites. Animate them into animations for the animation list put up in Expansion Acception. Then, people will critique your work, and you'll have to take it into account.

First download Beneton Movie GIF and download Paint
Then, you should get a sprite sheet (an image with characters on it),
Paste it on one window of paint
Copy one sprite (character) into another Paint window and Beneton
Copy the next sprite into the other window, but aline the feet
Paste it into Beneton
Repeat steps 4-6
Test the animation and save it
Upload it on imageshack.us and paste the link inbetween [img][/img]
Post it

Also try not to make it look shaky

Get a file on imageshack or photobucket, upload it, copy its IMG URL, and paste it. And don't double post. Use the edit button.
